Official Guide: How to Install and Activate Office 2019 Pro Plus

Follow these steps to install the complete productivity suite. Ensure you remove older versions before starting.

Crucial: Uninstall Old Versions

Before installing, you MUST uninstall any previous version of Office (2016, 2013, or Microsoft 365) to avoid activation conflicts. Restart your PC after uninstalling.

Download the official installer

Select your preferred language to download the official Office 2019 Professional Plus image file (IMG) directly from Microsoft servers.

Run the installation

Once downloaded, double-click the file (IMG) to "mount" it. Then run the Setup file.

Double click on: Setup.exe
Does nothing happen when you double-click?
If the file doesn't open automatically, you may need a tool like 7-Zip or WinRAR to extract the content.

Open an Application

The installer does not create shortcuts automatically. Search manually to find them.

How to find the apps

Click the Windows Start Button and type "Word" or "Excel". Open the application.

Activate your License

Open any Office app. When the activation window appears, select "I have a product key".
